Welcome to Global Link Law, LLC (“Global Link Law”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Pennsylvania-based legal and consulting firm. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients’ and website visitors’ information. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, www.globallinklaw.com (“website”), or interact with us.

  1. The Data We Collect About You

We collect personal data including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, job title, company or organization name and any other relevant details through our website, direct interactions, email communications, or during the provision of our legal, consulting or educational services. We also utilize telephone recordings and AI generated notes and other logs of your correspondence or communication with us.

In the case of a point of contact with a prospective client (“business contact”) we also collect information (name, address, contact details, company name and title) during events.  In addition to obtaining information directly from business contacts, we may collect information from multiple sources, including business cards, correspondence, and/or publicly available sources such as internet search engines, business directories or social media platforms.

Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you.

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through direct interactions, automated technologies or interactions, and third parties or publicly available sources.

As we cater to clients globally, we comply with international data protection regulations, including GDPR for clients in the European Economic Area (EEA).  For those residing outside the United States, including the EEA, we process your personal data for purposes described above when permissible by law.  Where we process your personal data for this purpose, our legitimate interest is to carry out our business activities in furtherance of the well-being of our clients. We will obtain your consent when no statutory basis for processing your persona data exists and when the processing of your personal data is necessary.  You have the right to withdraw your consent to processing of personal data at any time.  You also have the following rights:  the right to request access to your personal data we hold, the right to request we erase or restrict the processing of your personal data and the right to receive personal data about you that we store and transmit to another.  To exercise these rights, you may contact us via the “Contact Information” section below.  You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence if you would like to make a complaint.  Due to the global nature of the services to which we provide, please be aware that we process and store personal data in the United States. This means we may transfer your personal data to an external third party outside the EEA. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it.  Our policies and practices have been designed to ensure compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We ensure that proper procedures are in place to manage your personal data and to remove and/or archive it when necessary. We will protect your personal data and delete it once our retention period to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations and/or protects our rights has lapsed.
